Back to Blaq: A Night of Pride, Power & Pure Vibes

I recently had the honor of photographing Back to Blaq—an unforgettable event held in Wilton Manors, Fort Lauderdale, dedicated to uplifting and celebrating people of color in the LGBTQ+ community. The night was alive with energy, purpose, and pure joy.

From the moment the music dropped, the vibe was electric. The crowd showed up bold, beautiful, and ready to express. Between the runway-worthy looks, vogue battles, and nonstop dancing, every corner of the space radiated culture, pride, and creative freedom.

Events like this are more than just a party—they're a reminder of why representation matters. Back to Blaq created a space where Black and Brown queer voices were centered, celebrated, and seen.
